SweetHome3D and .dae files from Google Sketchup : scaling problems Good day all - let me say right up front that I love SH3D!! Has kept my sanity in check for two years of dreaming. I am now pushing my limits and am trying to 'build' stuff in Sketchup that can not be 'built' in SH3D, and am finding some issues with scaling. In specific, I have created a roof section that is a post and beam arrangement, exposed wooden beams. The section that I have created in SU is 16' x 8' , exactly the size of the room in SH3D that I want to put the roof over. Yet when I import the 'furniture' , the .dae file looks correct, but is smaller ( dimensionally ) than it is supposed to be, and when I stretch it to the correct size, it gets all goobered ( technical term ) up. Any ideas as to how to enforce the scaling? Thanks in advance for those that read and ponder my question. al |
