Re: How to draw a room Rimvy, When drawing a room, a tool tip appears that gives the exact length of the line you are drawing, and the angle relative to the last point. This should enable you to draw with a high degree of precision. However, a mouse is a rather imprecise tool, and it can be difficult to get lengths exactly right. You can increase precision by zooming in further, so that mouse movement translates into a smaller distance. The discussion about how to draw walls and rooms is an old one, and one that has no easy solution. Consider a room surrounded by walls of three different thicknesses, a common situation in many houses (say: outside cavity walls 30 cms thick, load bearing internal walls 20 cms thick, non-load bearing internal walls 10 cms thick). Whether you draw the walls first, or the room first, you will need to do some simple calculations to correctly draw the plan.
