Re: Triangular window/frame
No matter what shape of window you make, once you insert the window in a wall, SH3D will make a rectangular hole in the wall.

So, how to insert non-rectangular windows?
- Round(ed) windows: use one or two arches to complement the circular part(s) of your window until it is rectangular. Use Export to OBJ format to export the window, then import it again as furniture. Make sure to check the Door/window box.
- Triangular windows: use an upside-down triangle to complement your triangular window. Then export & import it. Make your own window using the Roof Tutorial (PDF) or look in the Sketchup Warehouse.
- Triangular top-window: the previous method obviously doesn't work for a window that sits directly under the roof top. Split your wall in two, make one side sloping. Split the other half of the wall in two again. The part next to the sloping wall should be horizontal, and the height is the greatest height of the wall minus the height of the window. The remaining part of the wall slopes again. On the horizontal part you can place (not insert) a triangular window.
