Re: light power in Lumen and "ambient light" for the sun Hi, I would be pleased, if i could set the light power in Lumen. This would be not useful for the program with the current renderer. As reflections are not computed, the power of light is a very relative information! See also this subject for more information.e.g. a 100W Bulb has 1400lm. Since the EU-bulb-prohibition most of lightsources comes with its lumen-number the Second thing i would wish for the next version is at the Picture-Renderer: An ambient light is always used in Virtual visit mode, to avoid rendering issues. You can add your own lights if you want more light (make them very wide to get soft effect on shadows).I if the sun is really bright, things in the shadow are very dark, darker than in real-life. So can you ad an option to add "ambient light" for the sun? by the way: is ther a dokumentation for the renderer? What did you feel was missing in the help page about photo creation?---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
