Set walls by interior dimensions? Howdy, Brand new to this program but want to make a layout for my house. The question I have is, what's the best way to do a room layout. When I measure my walls, I'm obviously measuring the interior dimensions. When I draw a wall and drag to the length of wall I want, it seems to mark the middle of the wall at that point instead of the edge of the wall. Is there a way to change this or do I just have to make all my walls a couple inches longer than the actual measurements? E.g. if I click and draw four 9' walls to make a square, I don't end up with a room that is 9'x9', I end up with a room that is around 8'7" x 8'7". Does that make sense? Thanks!! |
