Re: HELP for designing my mansard Sounds as if you can get away with drawing your crossbeam in SH3D, e.g: - draw a wall 45 deg angle - set wall height = beam width - set wall thickness = beam height - set wall length = beam length - select and export selection to .obj format - import .obj file (import furniture, or drag/drop) - rotate beam in import menu (green arrows) ok For more ideas based on this approach, you can have a look at: Tutorial for sloping ceilings, roofs, dormers and more Create a Simple Roof in SweetHome3D (Tutorial ) 3 ways to create a simple stair for quick use |
