Re: Create Photo Hangs mac powerbook 10.7.5, 2.2 intel core i7, 16 gb 1333 MHz ddr3, L2 Cache (per Core):256 KB, L3 Cache:6 MB, AMD Radeon HD 6750M SweetHome3D-4.4 is what i downloaded and am using - no other plug-ins i created the home, but everything suddendly slowed down, seems right after i added trees and bushes i cannot create a decent video - even after keeping the size, etc., to bare minimum i have not been able to create a photo at all i cleared the hard drive of everything possible - now have 141 GB available of 500. bought and doubled the RAM to 16 gb tried to do this: Under Mac OS X, right click on the application icon of Sweet Home 3D, select Show Package Contents, open the Contents folder, edit the Info.plist file by dragging its icon on TextEdit application, update the 1024 value in the text <string>-Xmx1024m</string>, save the file, then relaunch Sweet Home 3D. tried to change <string>-Xmx1024m</string> to <string>-Xmx2048m</string> when i open the Info.plist file in text edit... i cannot change it because it is locked. i went to "info" and that does not allow me to unlock the file to make the change any suggestions? do i need to be using some plug-in to help with creating photos and videos? thank you very much, david |
