Re: Raised floor in entry way
You have several possibilities. For instance:

1) Using levels: just draw your entire construction (ignoring the raised floor in entry-way for now). When finished, add another level +6" up. Go to that level and double-click with room tool to create a floor in the entry-way. You could adjust level height 6" down too (in case you need walls starting at that level). The raised entry-way floor will only be visible in 3D on that level (and levels above) unless you select Display all levels.

2) Using a 'platform': Such minor differences in elevation, do not really justify a level, so it is often easier to use an object 6" thick to "raise" the floor.
To create this object based on you room:
- draw the entire level,
- double-click with room tool in the entry-way,
- edit room and disable ceiling,
- select room and export selection to .obj format,
- import .obj file and adjust thickness,
- place that object in the entry-way.

Regardless of which method you choose, you need to pay attention to the elevation of the doors.

Hope this helps. Good luck. ok
