How to export from SweetHome3D to Sketchup for producing a cross section view Hello, I need to produce a cross section view of house that I have designed with SweetHome3D and I have noted that there is no such a feature as of yet. Apparently Sketchup has such a feature. I have not ever used Sketchup but before doing so I would like to know if it is possible to export my design from SweetHome3D to Sketchup and if so how. Any other remedy would also be appreciated Background info: I have been using SweetHome3D for a preliminary design of my home and I must say that I am very impressed with this particular software and it has performed well beyond my wildest expectations. The city that I reside in has an extensive preliminary review process which requires the elevation and cross section views. The lot that I would be building on is not level and I am planning to add a multi story addition to an existing house. My objective is to do the preliminary design process myself to get preliminary approvals. I have noted as to how to add the elevations by reviewing discussions but I have not done so yet as I need to figure how to measure the elevations first and I am in midst of doing so. |
