Re: Eco House .dae files after exporting them from sketch up Both .dae and .obj files should be recognised directly by SH3D, so importing furniture (or just drag-drop into the plan) should do the trick unless the model is faulty. ... .obj and .mtl format but have no idea how to get SH3D to recognise them. ..also how to make a donut shaped building? For a round building, use the arc function (press Ctrl when ending wall segment). However, walls in SH3D are vertically straight.on how to create an Arc shaped Roof? There are lots of links on how to create various roofs, some listed in thread 6372. Principle is the same, using arc walls. However for more complex roofs, you may need to use Blender/Sketchup or some other software to get exactly what you want. ok |
