But with the help of a textured square/box with your survey map, yes, see the blog post How to print a grid in the plan or display it in 3D. Editing, cropping/scaling the image down to reasonable size is a good idea anyway, though.

Does the land survey really say 56°14'37" South? If so you, that is a latitude you want to check and find another value for your Compass settings
