The dynamic grid is actually a good feature, but might become quite disturbing, when I have to place the wall corners into the exact coordinates according to the plan. With low zoom I cannot see, whether I have placed the point correctly, and when I zoom-in, the grid dynamically decreases to sub-centimeter level, so I have to move the mouse with a pixel precision :( An option to turn the dynamic grid off, and to define the fixed grid of e.g. 0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 and 10 cm would be a good improvement. My workaround was entering the coordinates manually, but for a complex apartment shape this took some work with the calculator :) Nevertheless, great thanks, the Sweet Home 3D is really cool! |
