Re: Direct3D not working Hello. I came back to this old post because I'm noticing something weird with the 3D visualisation. I'm using an old ATI Radeon HD 4350, which doesn't have support from AMD for Windows 10, so I'm using it with the driver which is installed from Windows Update, with versión 8.970.100.9001, as said in this AMD's article: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Page...000-and-older-Series.aspx But I noticed when I try to move around in the 3D view it does very slow and jumping from a position to the next instead a continuous movement. Although the graphic card is not very powerful it was working fine with Windows 7, so I was wondering if this Windows Update driver is not using acceleration for OpenGL and instead it's making a software emulation. I was about to test SH3D in D3D mode, but then I remembered this post about the impossibility to make it in 64 bit mode. Is still not possible with latest version of SH3D? P.S.: OK, I just noticed the "about" dialog says "version 5.4 DirectX", but then I cannot understand that poor performance on 3d view... ![]() ---------------------------------------- If a long walk every day were healthy, mailmen would be immortal. ![]() |
