Plans for redecoration
Hello everyone.
This is my first post to the Gallery.
After years of gathering useful tips here at the forum, I think it’s time to show something.
I have made a selection of images that do not contain any elements from Trimble, as I understand that is not allowed.

I am a musical composer and sound designer from Oslo, Norway, working mainly with feature films, both Norwegian and foreign.
My studio is located at an old factory site, lying on the bank of the river Akerselva, the river that traditionally separates the east side
from the west side of the city.
When the production closed down in 1988, the factory buildings rapidly became popular with film-makers and media producers.
Old factories have high ceilings and ceiling height is of great value in the film industry.
In my studio the ceiling height is only 6,5 meters, but some of the other studios on the premises have up to 16 meters high ceilings.

The part of the factory where my studio is situated, is at the outskirts of the factory site, in the only building lying on
the west side of the river. I’m not sure what was produced here, but the factory initially produced steam engines and
turbines before it became a highly specialised heavy industry company, with a good reputation in the world market.
This is a quiet area of the city, with the river on one side, and a great park on the other.

Here is a somewhat idyllic rendering of the exterior, but it's not far from reality:

The plan is reconstructed from the original drawings that were made with X-Cad on an Amiga 3000 T in 2002, and the purpose
of this reconstruction is to pre-visualise different ways to redecorate and optimise the facilities.
So far this is my favourite plan, but I think there might still be room for some improvements.

The lounge, what meets the eye when you enter the studio.

The ground floor is 90 cm beneath ground level.

I will present the rest of the production suite in a while.
