Basement Level "Lip"?
Question: Is it normal for a basement level to show a lip protruding over the ground? The basement floor elevation is negative 7'9 7/8". The mail level still shows 0' floor elevation. It's the first time I created a basement level and an upper level. Nothing bad seems to be affected. I tried making the basement two ways: 1) add new level and set the new (negative) elevation, added walls/room/height, and 2) add new level at same elevation (as main level) and set the new (negative) elevation, added walls/room/height. Both do the same thing. I'm assuming this is normal with the current SH3D version. I was watching older YouTube videos and the basement appeared flush with the ground. Here you can see the edge of the added basement level "lip" on the edge of my main 0' elevation level. Part of my kitchen has indented walls on its floorplan. Maybe by design SH3D overlaps floors with no harm?
