Aha, the jre bundled with Sweet Home for Mac needed an executable permission on jspawnhelper.

chmod u+x /Applications/Sweet\ Home\ 3D.app/Contents/Plugins/Java.runtime/Contents/Home/jre/lib/jspawnhelper
