Problems Importing Hi Folks.. bit of a newbie here. I've been meticulously (as I can, anyway) building a 3D model of my house. I've been using generic furniture so far, but came across BIM&Co, which provides free manufacturer-supplied models - it's ace and has so much of what I need. But.. it doesn't supply the models in anything SH3D supports natively (.ifc, .skp, .max, .dwg, .rfa). I downloaded a trial of SketchUp so I can export to .obj, .dae etc., and I also had a friend who uses Revit at work export them as well to .obj and .dae - and in all instances, when I import to SH3D the models are 'off axis' for want of a better description, and the colours also disappear (if I try to colour them in SH3D it just ends up a bland black box). Can anyone point me to what I'm doing wrong? (I have screenshots but it's not obvious how to attach them to this post) Thanks for any help Cheers, James |
