Re: Stairs U shaped two landings @Dorin Good example Dorin, I didn't know the two landings was possible, I haven't done much with the staircase generator because I custom create all of my staircases. Just setting the turn stairs count to 1 made it a landing. @cookj As Dorin said, a staircase can only cut through a floor, that's what the cutout shape is for. For your wall: split the wall and move the split to where the wall opening must start. Now lower the height of the part of wall where the staircase is. This is very basic for Sweethome3D so try it, because you will probably use it more often. The floor cutout shape is determined by the bounding box of the staircase, that means the area that is occupied by the staircase. You can change that but it requires that you add the staircase to a furniture library.
