Re: floating 3ds and color don't match when exporting Hoofman: Your best guess is probably to import the models in Blender and find out if they are correct and, if not, correct them. You can then export them as a 3DS or OBJ model. The reason for the strange behaviour is that there seem to exist several "dialects" in the way 3DS files are composed by different programs.
