Re: How to make a mirror ball?I can only give my file to study, there are an insane number of trial versions, more than 50 pieces with different parameters. I have highlighted two more or less decent ones with the word "Perfect" so as not to look for the right ones. It's a glass vase and a mirrored one. My opinion is that MTL files are almost all on the same person, but the "d" parameter has a high value, I preferred to set 0.1-0.2, and the optical density coefficient is important, the feeling of a "glass lens" strongly depends on it. Otherwise, it all depends on the brilliance in the final settings of the groups in the program itself, not in MTL. And I also noticed a strange effect of a strong glow when assigning any texture (not color) to the glass. Just a dazzling snow-white lamp. The color of the texture does not matter at all - in the end, a dazzling white ball and that's it. This is because I placed a very powerful light source inside the vase - a 50% flashlight. It also highlights the texture of the vase. In the version with a mirrored vase, the flashlight does not break out in any way, but highlights the base of the leaves through the throat of the vase. the file is here https://www.mediafire.com/file/p9e0hpk4wyx9sq...%25B8%25D1%258F.sh3d/file |
