Re: MAgnetism and alignment side-by-side Sorry, I didn't read you correctly. You're right, magentism doesn't work for objects within a group and you need to ungroup them first. Maybe I should improve this behavior... Keet, your comment is right but magnetism doesn't work for two objects at different elevations only if the bottom of the higher object is higher than the top of the lower one.
