Re: Wooden kitchen
By the way, I am always careful to use free (without limitations) textures.
Excuse me to insist, but using and redistributing is different. wink
Many textures and models can be used freely, but very few can be redistributed.

For example, I think I recognized the frieze you used on the wall. It comes from LeMog, doesn't it?
When I discovered this site, I wrote to his author to get information about what he meant by the "Free Tiled Textures" mention. If his 3737 textures were available under a free license that would allow us to redistribute them, I could have created some SH3T files from them for Sweet Home 3D users. Miserably, he answered me that the textures were free of use and not free for redistribution (to be more precise, he authorized me to redistribute only "bois placage" category and the various "parquet" categories).
So if showing non redistributable images like you did isn't a problem, distributing 3D models that use them wouldn't be authorized.
As I think I already said in an other thread, this issue is probably the main reason why I didn't create a texture image contribution page yet. On contrary of 3D models, there are so many images around there and editing an image is so easy, that I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to guaranty to users that contributed images would be really original ones, and make contributors understand that images must be created from pictures they took or drew themselves.
I hope I didn't bore you with this legal stuff, but that's how real life must go if you want to insure the freedom of free software.
