Re: curtain problem (sweethome 7.5 version) First visit this page and download the pdf "MTL_file_explained.pdf". That way you can understand the purpose of all the values in a MTL file. Is your MTL file formatted like in the image with all properties on a single line? If so start with each property on their own line. See the example in the pdf. In the image you have set the d value to 1.66. d should have a value between 0 and 1. (1=100% opaque, 0.5=50% opaque). If you export the curtain from the catalog the d value is 0.66. I appears that you changed the 0 into 1 and left the .66 untouched. To remove all shininess set Ns to 0.0. (Although 1.0 is already a very low value since the range for Ns is 0-1000.) With illum 1 you can remove the Ks value. It is not used with illumination model 1. That said, I don't think this is a rendering problem. I think the model itself is the problem (not the texture). Since you tried other textures and the same problem occurs this would clearly suggest that the model mesh is the cause of the artifacts. ---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |
