Re: Wishlist: IFC as Project file Thank you all for your insight here. First of all, I am not interested in editing IFC data. It's about staging rooms. As a user, I don't dare to predict how the goal of using IFC for this purpose can be meaningfully achieved. But if it is that difficult, then you can also start small and only consider the import a stupid body as a house. The important thing is that in the end it is clear where the floors are and where the walls are. Then you can stage with it. It does not have to be perfect, it should be possible. Offering native IFC editing like FreeCAD does in 1.0 can be omitted and perhaps declared as a distant goal. |
