Re: Latest upgrade (7.6) Thank you for your concern, however slightly alarmistic :-) Although I understand that sometimes high alert is certainly necessary. I do check the source of anything I click on, though, so I had quite good confidence that this source was legit. The main problem, I think, is software not updating via Appstore. To ask users to click on links in e-mails is not the most professional way to offer upgrades. I could possible do also with an e-mail asking me to upgrade via the app's menu. But looking through the menues for Sweet Home, I find no choice for "Looking for upgrades". I also tried to find a direct way to Sweet Home's support, but since it is hidden deep in the fine print all I found was this forum, where I still haven't received a helpful answer. The second search actually resulted in an e-mail adress to their own support, but after mailing them I still haven't received a reply. Maybe I'll just scrap the whole app - I doesn't use it so often anyway. |
