Re: Advanced Photo feature...
tks for your reply. so, would the room setting... i meant if the area being rendered is defined as a room with ceiling option on/off... would it make anything diff? it seems without the ceiling the sunlight comes in at the top.. how about the ceiling light next to the area being rendered? would it also affect the rendering result?

sorrie.. where is the repos that i can get the eyedropper? btw... it seems there is no way to recall the color that i 'd gave it a color name... so, is it just a name label? what is it use for?

regards

baddog,

Yesterday version 3.0 was published. It's wise to download and install it from the Download page . The AdvancedRender plug-in has been significantly improved and is now integrated in the program.

You have to:
- set your location (latitude/longitude), the orientation of your model (where is North?) and the time of your location using the Compass function
- set the date and time of day in the render window
- decide if you use a sky colour, or a sky texture; the textures may give better results, but can make pictures dark; use a light image

SH3D doesn't feature an eyedropper, but you can easily find and install one (Gcolor2) using the repository.
