Re: how do I add texture to bottom half of walls? Jared, There are several ways to do this. 1 - Using the plug-in CopyAsNewFurniture - Draw the walls of your room - Copy the four walls to a different location for each of the colours or textures you want to use - Give the first set of walls the height of the lowest colour, then apply that colour or texture - Repeat the process for the second (and third, etc) part of your design on the second (and third) set of walls - Select the second part and copy it using Tools --> Copy as new Furniture - Paste the copy into your design, change its elevation and place it exactly on top of your first set of walls - Repeat for more colours or textures NOTE: This way left and right side of the wall may have different aspects 2 - Using insertable boxes - Take a standard box and export it using 3D view --> Export to OBJ format - Import it again making sure you check the checkbox Door/Window - Apply the colour or texture you desire to the box, and give it the desired height and width, as well as the correct elevation - Insert the box into your wall - Repeat for more colours/textures NOTE: This way both sides of the wall look the same 3 - Using an imported texture - Use a graphics program like The Gimp to make the desired texture for the full height of your wall - Import the texture and apply it to your wall NOTE: This way both sides of the wall may have different aspects 4 - Read this tutorial for another way NOTE: This way both sides of the wall may have different aspects Good luck!
