Java platform SE binary not respondingHi all,
I get the message in the subject line as soon as I launch SH3D, which makes SH3D exit. Some background:
- I run Windows Vista (no firewall, but UAC is on).
- SW3D had been working trouble-free for a week: I created a model of my house, and it's a great program. I'm ready to support it.
- I tried uninstalling both SH3D and Java, clean up registry, reboot... done that twice already.
Note: the problem started right after I tried SW3D online with SRWare Iron, which is Chrome-based. The Java logo appeared, the browser said some add-ons were being installed, then the browser froze. Tried again with another browser (IE7), no luck.
I use my wife's MacBook to continue working but it's a 13' screen - I'd rather use my 23' monitor, as you all understand... but it's attached to my Windows machine
.No clue in the FAQ section, and I can't seem to google to an answer, which is my usual way of solving things. Yep, I'm a coder... kinda funny I have to post for help, I'm usually on the answering side
