windows 3D builder
Impossible to import a 3d furniture created with 3D BUILDER (windows 10) en .OBJ, it worked well before, but now the import only works with a 3d .DAE model that removes colors and textures ....

Thanks for your help

Re: windows 3D builder
Difficult to help you without an error OBJ file. Could you share one or send it one to me?

Re: windows 3D builder
it seems that the problem arises as soon as you add colors to the model in 3D builder.
A simple shape without color does not pose a problem and is imported without error into 3D sweethome.

Re: windows 3D builder
Thanks for your file.
The OBJ file can't be read because it doesn't respect the OBJ format specifications.
As it's a text format, you can check by yourself: lines starting by "v" are supposed to describe a vertex with the 3 values of its coordinates (and a possible 4th value used as a weight). In the file you sent, "v" lines are followed by 6 values, making it wrong. It will work if you remove the trailing 3 numbers of "v" lines.

Re: windows 3D builder
Just open the OBJ file with any text editor.

Re: windows 3D builder
I think you should rather use another tool or a different export format...

Re: windows 3D builder
it woks when you only use "texture" for the 3d model (doesn't work if you change a color)
Thanks for all
