Can I edit furniture from library? Hi All! I am new to SW3D, and enjoying it more than I probably should :). I am now at a standstill because I need a half landing stairwell similar to the one from the imported library by Ola-Kristian Hoff, but with an octogon shape at he half landing (basically cut off the two corners). I tried to export the object and edit it in Meshlab (I am also new to that). However, as soon as I import into Meshlab and export it again, even without making any changes, when I import it back into SH3D, it has lost a lot of its properties, eg. it no longer has all the different materials that can be edited. Is there a recommended way to edit an object? Thanks! |

Re: Can I edit furniture from library? You should rather try Blender. It handles very well import / export at OBJ format, keeping materials. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
