Re: Door Frames I figured it out! Lots of trial and error understanding how the SVG parameters interact. My finial custom SVG cutout shape: M0,0.0505 a0.83, 0.25 0 0,1 1, 0 v0.9495 h-1 z ![]() ---------------------------------------- Steve N Mavronis - Retired PC Tech |

Re: Door Frames Nice try, congratulations! But... I wonder if the ghosting effect you got in the rendering would be due to the fact that you didn't change the color of both sides of the wall you exported. I don't get this effect in the example I posted... ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Door Frames Hmm right I only colored one side. I should test that out using the test room I made. The bad thing is even with my walls 1/8†thick would it cast a shadow on the floor even though being set to transparent? Oh well, at least I used some SVG and learned something new because I was so curious how the 3-sided door frames did their magic with no threshold bottom side. Custom partial arcs at the top are tricky to figure out. ---------------------------------------- Steve N Mavronis - Retired PC Tech |
