Guidelines available?
Hello,

I installed SweetHome3D to electronically capture the plan of my house.
I used to work a lot with drawing programs. And these offered guidelines. This was very helpful whether aligning lines or walls with it.
In SweetHome3D I find it difficult to draw these walls based on the interior dimensions of the room and the wall thicknesses. Since the center of the wall is always taken, you always have to calculate and calculate. And when you do wrongly calculate, it's very annoying. Using guidelines is simply more comfortable to draw.
Is there something in SweetHome3D, or is it planned?

Regards
MC

Re: Guidelines available?
I'm not sure what you mean by "guidelines"...
Look at this video to draw rooms from their interior dimensions.

Re: Guidelines available?
Adding guides (or guidelines) to SH3D (and of course with a snap to guides/guidelines option), would make a world of difference.
Everyone who have ever worked with drawing programs knows the importance of guides, not just for walls, but for any purpose.

Have a look at Photoshop, where snappable guides are one of the essential tools.

I have a feeling this request have already been made a couple of times during my time at this forum.
