Switching Versions I would like to update my SweetHome3D program. I originally had the Amazon version, but would like to have the Microsoft version/update. Would it work more like an update to the previous version or a new program? Will the furniture and textures that I have transfer and will I be able to open previous files? Thank you. |

Re: Switching Versions A licence of Amazon store can’t be transferred to another store, but you can retrieve the SH3F and SH3T furniture and textures libraries of the Amazon version (found in Sweet Home 3D installation folder), and import them in the free version available in Download page. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Switching Versions So if I have files made with the Amazon version, would I be able to open them if I purchase the Windows version? and, of so, is there any effect on the appearance or functionality of the files when opened? Thank you. |

Re: Switching Versions Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly and good to know. I have seen other programs react poorly to version switching and/or updates and just wanted to make sure before purchasing! |
