How to create an inclining wall Hi, looking for a way how to create an inclining wall, i.e. a regular vertical wall with a length of 10m at the base ans 11m at the top end. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks so much. Klaus-Peter |

Re: How to create an inclining wall Try Modify walls -> Sloping wall to make a wall that's 10 m high at one end, and 11 m high at the other end. If the base of your wall should be 10 m long, and the top should be 11 m long, there's no standard solution. Use this workaround: - draw a wall 11 m long - split it in two parts - use Modify walls -> Sloping wall to make one side sloping - repeat if both sides need to be sloping - now you have an upside-down version of the wall you need - export your wall as OBJ (selection only) - import your wall and rotate it 90 degress during import H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: How to create an inclining wall Hi, Hansmex, thanks for your quick reply. Worked out well, yet seems like a work-around-around-around: not unknown in SH3D. But Thanx anyway. Klaus-Peter |

Re: How to create an inclining wall Hi, Hansmex, it's me again. Export/import worked well, but after Import OBJ the wall is Furniture. How to turn it into a wall? Thanks again. K.P. |

Re: How to create an inclining wall As you noticed yourself, it’s a workaround. You could also try that one. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
