Can't get SH3D to run on my new Surface Pro X
Hi all,
I'm experiencing the same issues as a lot of other people re the fatal error in the rendering system etc.
I've tried a range of workarounds including 32bit, running it with the ini file for Directx etc and have tried running it within Java etc but to no avail.
Has anyone got any other ideas - I'm desperate
Thanks
Sean

Re: Can't get SH3D to run on my new Surface Pro X
If none of the solutions proposed in the FAQ works, you could try to set com.eteks.sweethome3d.j3d.useOffScreen3DView property to true, by writing the line
-Dcom.eteks.sweethome3d.j3d.useOffScreen3DView=true
in SweetHome3D.l4j.ini

Your Surface Pro X contains an ARM processor, not an Intel processor, right?
If it's the case, the installation program should be able to install a working 32 bit version running with DirectX, but I have no idea if it actually woks because the user arm64appcompatguy never answered about it in this thread.
