Re: I cannot see the color of the rooms when rooms overlap. Why? Sorry guys, but what you say, that most recent room will cut the oldest rooms it's not true, and I can prove it. Problem is reproducible. I deleted all rooms and created them in order, the room that I want to be below first then the smaller rooms that I want to be on top later. I applied different textures but still the older, larger room appeared on top covering the smaller ones, created later. You should have a right click menu option "bring up" or bring down |

Re: I cannot see the color of the rooms when rooms overlap. Why? The bug about rooms order drawing was fixed in version 7.0. Rooms are now drawn in the order they were added when they have the visibilities of their floor / ceiling are the same, and if they are different the ceilings are always drawn after the floors (said another way, a room with an invisible floor and a visible ceiling will be drawn after a room with a visible floor and an invisible ceiling). More predictable drawing results are nice but this fix may lead to undesired changes in the rendering of existing plans as reported by sjb007, where the ceiling of a room might darken too much the floor of the room below it. Maybe I'll use a lighter gray to draw rooms which have only their ceiling visible. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
