Furniture not importing on MacBook Air M1
Hi guys, having trouble importing new furniture on SH3D.
When I download a (Collada) ZIP file from 3D Warehouse, I can load it but when the orientation screen appears SH3D 'hangs' and I have to force quit the app.

Anybody else having this problem?

Version used:
Versie 6.6.1 Mac App Store
OpenJDK versie 15.0.2 - 64bit - ARM - 0,1 / 4 GB geboden door Azul Systems, Inc. Java 3D versie 1.6.1 - JOGL 2.4.0-rc-20210111

Try to run the program with Rosetta at least while you import a 3D model. What macOS version do you use?

I had a similar problem. So far, unfortunately, I could not find a solution.

snortrip, are you sure you use Sweet Home 3D 6.6.1 like wismeijer?

I have the same problem with the current version of SH3D for Linux on Ubuntu 21.10.

Same here. MacBook Pro 14" 2021 with M1 Pro. It's freezing in the orientation view after selecting in obj file to import. using Sweet Home 3D Version 6.6a.

Did you guys find any workaround yet?

I can confirm, that importing entire libraries is working.

Re: Furniture not importing on MacBook Air M1
Pharmonie, your case is a little different because you use the free version in which case you should use the special version available at
https://www.sweethome3d.com/downloads/SweetHome3D-6.6-macosx-jogl-2.3.2.dmg
As this version can't be notarized, you'll have to launch it the first time by clicking on Sweet Home 3D icon while maintaining control key pressed and choosing Open item.

Re: Furniture not importing on MacBook Air M1
As a workaround I import the models with the FLE, save it in a library and then import that library with SH3D.
Works for me with Ubuntu 21.10 and SH3D 6.6. Hope that's a (temporary) solution for the M1 too.

Puybaret, thank you! This solution worked fine in my case.
