Batch rendering sunlight Is it possible to create a batch series of rendered images in quality level 3 incl. sunlight simulation and from bird's eye view? As a result I want to get a series of images (or a video) that shows the shadow direction and length of my house. I want this for the time between 11AM and 9PM per day (one image per hour) and create this set of images for every week of a year - all from the same perspective (bird's eye view). Could I - either "feed" the renderer with a text file containing date + time entries per image - create my own script and programatically control the renderer window ? Many thanks. |

Re: Batch rendering sunlight If 3D view > Create photos at points of view menu item isn't enough for you, you could try to inspire yourself from the ConsolePhotoGenerator application explained here and here. Instantiating a Camera object at different times shouldn't be difficult. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
