Aligning objects on a curve Hi all New to the forum but not SH3D. I'm creating a layout for our village hall and would like to align furniture(chairs) on a curved path. I know that I could do it manually by creating curves on a background picture and importing it and then placing them individually but is there another way that's not so fiddly? Thanks |

Re: Aligning objects on a curve Hi, You could try to draw the curved path with round walls (read FAQ How can I create round walls? if needed) then place the chairs along this wall. Even if magnetism doesn't work perfectly with round walls, it will help you to place them at the tangent of round walls. It seems to work better to add the chair first then place it along a wall. See attached example. ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: Aligning objects on a curve Thank you Emmanuel, I shall apply that to the drawing. |

Re: Aligning objects on a curve You can also try the Multiplier plugin. |
