Avoiding Unintentional Changes to Selected Objects i have found when selecting an object, intentionally or accidentally, almost always, the slightest mouse tremor makes an unintentional Move to the object in fact, i have found it very difficult to select an object, WITHOUT accidentally moving the object which is really frustrating in two ways - 1. if i don't notice, then my painstaking work setting position and size is screwed; 2. if i DO notice, i have to waste a lot of time to set it make to the position and size it was (unless Undo works - which i am constantly having to do most times i try to simply just Select an object) is there some setting to fix this, is there some trick to it, is there some mouse setting that would help? |

Re: Avoiding Unintentional Changes to Selected Objects Bumping this 2 year old thread... have the same issue trying to box-select objects, because it seems like "Move" has precedence over "Select" when you click and drag the mouse. I feel like "Move" should only be enabled if there is already an object selected. |

Re: Avoiding Unintentional Changes to Selected Objects Many drawing software work like that. Is it so difficult to click on an object without moving the mouse? ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |
