How can I open and close a sliding door?
Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to open and close a sliding door?

I've been able to do this for a regular door, where I can click the "Modify Openings..." button and adjust the 3d model to open the door. However, this does not seem to be available for the "Slider pocket door" model.

I also found some original forum threads where this door model was posted:
* http://www.sweethome3d.com/support/forum/viewthread_thread,5223#22845
* https://sourceforge.net/p/sweethome3d/feature-requests/654/#168b

I opened up one of the attached .sh3d files, but they also can't be opened and closed. (Although they include the wall pockets.)

What is the easiest way to solve this problem?

Will I need to modify the 3d model in Blender to create a new "closed sliding door" model, and then show/hide the open/closed versions?

(I am creating some 3d renders to use as a floor plan in Home Assistant, to show the status of lights, fans, doors, etc.)

Doors have to be designed specifically to support openings. This can be done in blender or using a text editor. Read this post:

Hello Nathan,

were you ever able to get this working?

I have a pretty hard time with Blender to be honest - not a 3D artist here. ;-)

But would be really cool to be able to enable also the "Slider pocket door" to allow "Modify Openings".

Any chance someone could help with this?

Best regards and thanks in advance
