Slow render - High CPU Hi all, Wondering if I am missingh something. V 7/0/3 on windows 3D view/create a photo/ Even if I choose 3 quality, it's taking a very long time. I also note that CPU usage is high (99%), but GPU low (10%). I have a decent 2080 GPU and was hoping to use that to assist the render? |

Re: Slow render - High CPU SH3D doesn't use GPU, only CPU. If rendering takes too long, there are many options to reduce rendering time. Search the forum or try one of these: - reduce number of lights - choose smaller models - make models invisible that do not appear in the image - etc H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |

Re: Slow render - High CPU Thank you, all. Hansmex, to confirm, if I have object behind the render view... will they affect the render?? |

Re: Slow render - High CPU SH3D must determine for every object where it is and whether or not it is visible in the image that will be produced. This takes time. If you remove all objects that will not appear in your image, the render engine doesn't need to do these preparatory steps. So... make invisible all levels that don't appear in your image and do the same for all objects. H ---------------------------------------- Hans new website - under constuction hansdirkse.info |
