How to make a room bottom/floor solid? Is there a way to make the bottom of a room/floor solid so that it becomes a solid (thin) shape when exported to .obj and to a 3D printing program? As it is now, the bottom/floor of a house is not printed at all when exported. |

Re: How to make a room bottom/floor solid? Did you give the level an elevation >0? I think you need a level with an elevation where the floor thickness is the resulting thickness of the exported room. ---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |

Re: How to make a room bottom/floor solid? Did you give the level an elevation >0? The floor of the rooms are converted into solid objects with the thickness of the floor. Only with the ground floor this does not work. My solution is to create an extra lowest floor (call it bottom) with elevation 0. Then give the ground floor an elevation which is the same as its thickness. This seems to work! |
