Release on steam (paid, free; Win, Linux, macOS at the same time)? Hello, i'm using sweet home 3d for quite a while now and i'm thinking about supporting because of that. But the paid version is just on Windows Store available. Ever thought about releasing Sweet Home 3D on Steam as well? There is plenty of closed and open source software already on https://store.steampowered.com/software/ like Blender, RPGMaker, Krita, Voiceattack or Arkio (VR Interior Design). It is possible to release Linux, Windows and macOS version there. You can release the free version and the paid version both, a benefit is, a person can buy it once and has it available everywhere compared to Windows Store, for example. I guess https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/gettingstarted is the starting-point for that. That would increase the reach of Sweet Home 3D i believe. I would like to thank you for your hard work! :) |
