Re: setting/edit the wall length and starting position The guy you call a troll spent some time to write this in the help: To help you draw walls precisely, use the wall tooltip and the alignment lines. If you press the enter key when the plan has the focus, the values displayed in the tooltip will become editable to let you enter with the keyboard the length, the angle and the thickness of the current wall (if you didn't start any wall yet, the tooltip will display the coordinates of the start point of the new wall). Use the up arrow, down arrow or tab keys to edit an other value and press again the enter key to confirm the values you entered. If you want to use again the mouse to draw walls, simply move it over the plan. and still hopes that users like you will read it.You may also change the coordinates of a wall afterwards with a double click on that wall. ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: setting/edit the wall length and starting position Thanks for the info and sorry for the troll. I find it terrible when the answer to a question in forums is "use the search or rtfm". Especially when I'm short on time and urgently need to finish a small project. In the meantime I have continued the project with librecad. But I'll be happy to come back to sh3d for future requirements because of the 3d functionality. |
