How to Create 3d Photo Looking Like This... Hello All, I'm new to SH3D and have been playing around with it off and on for a few weeks now. I would like to primarily use it to create 3d views of floor plans to upload in a separate application. I would like the end result to look like this: However, this is the best I can do: https://imgur.com/a/sbLH0JY What are the steps to get the end result to look like this? Primarily with how the shadows are a gradient along the walls and smaller rooms are darker? |

Re: How to Create 3d Photo Looking Like This... The image you want to obtain doesn't display shadows produced by bright sunlight, like on a cloudy day. To produce a similar effect, you could add an Invisible inward light half sphere light source available in the LightShapes.sh3f furniture library released with version 7.0. Cover your house design with this light source, reduce its power to 10% to 20% and render your design at a night hour with YafaRay renderer. See attached file for a test. ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- Emmanuel Puybaret, Sweet Home 3D creator |

Re: How to Create 3d Photo Looking Like This... This is great! I was unsure what kind of response I would get to this question and had difficulty trying to describe what I was looking for. You answered it perfectly and I can't thank you enough that you shared a test file. Its something that I can mess around with. |
