Plugin location
Greetings...just downloaded Sweet Home 3D today. Also downloaded AutoDimensioning.shp3. The plugin appears to work fine but wondering where it should reside in the PC? It currently sits in the download directory...thanks Bob

Re: Plugin location
When you open the plugin with SH3D it is magically saved into the applications plugin folder. Where this is located depends on which OS you are using. You can remove the file in the Downloads folder, as it is not used once SH3D has copied to the plugin folder.

Re: Plugin location
I have just downloaded the 3D dimensioning plugin DimensionLines3D-1.0.sh3p along with Pan3dView.sh3p as this was also rewuired.
I am running Sweet Home 3D on a Macbook pro running MacOS Sonoma Version 14.4.1.

The app just keeps crashing. I deleted both sh3p files and restarted the application but it is still crashing. I have also tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but still crashed.

It was working OK until I installed the plugins.
Any help would be much appreciated

Re: Plugin location
What version of Sweet Home 3D do you use and how big is your SH3D file?
How does it crash? As soon as you launch Sweet Home 3D, after you open your SH3D file or after you do a particular action?

Re: Plugin location
Hi Emmanual,

I'm running version 7.3.1 which I purchased from the app store.
The sh3d file is only 1.4MB.

As soon as I go into the virtual mode in the 3D model and try to move around using the track pad the 3D view in the window below goes black and the 2D window show the plan as a black spot in the top left hand corner with no ability to zoom back in.

I had no problems until I dowloded and installed the plugins

Thanks
Tony
