Hi SpaceMushrooms. No way to connect without a Google account?

Agree, please say no to Google!

In general, I look forward to being able to integrate the drawing abilities of SH3D with help from models like https://huggingface.co/spaces/Qwen/QVQ-72B-preview

The workflow could be something like: interpret image(s) of the planimetria using AI, export XML data to SH3D for rendering and adding detail, modifications, export back to AI for bill of materials and costing.

Also, please consider new forum software, perhaps: https://github.com/discourse/discourse

Re: Sweet Home 3D people survey
I generally think that users would be satisfied with the addition of the Pivot point and the coordinate system on the models. The possibility of basic object manipulations - move, scale, rotate, duplicate. All of this already works in SH3D it just needs to add a graphical representation, as I doubt most users even know about these capabilities as it is unintuitive to use. It should work in both 2D and 3D view.

I don't think many users have this as a top priority for an update.
(Far more important is fixing the search function of the forum.)

That is why the Advanced edit plugin is a must-have. It does exactly what you mentioned and more. I totally agree that it's functionality should be part of Sweet Home 3D without the need for the plugin.

I think it would be nice to have render furniture https://zolak.tech/studio features. That would be nice.

If it's still relevant.

I use Sweet Home 3D to create games.

And it would be very convenient if there would be support for exporting to glTF.

Re: Sweet Home 3D people survey
I've used Sweet Home 3D quite a bit, and while it’s great for furniture and layout, the people models feel a bit static. It’d be awesome to have more diverse and poseable characters—maybe importing animated models from other sources like Sketchfab or Blender could help bridge the gap.
