How to change the memory setting? Hi, been away for while and downloaded the latest version. Seems I have forgotten how to adjust my memory settings, or something may have changed? Please help? Cec |

Re: How to change the memory setting? Welcome back Cecilia! Use -Xmx6g as an extra parameter of the command line in the startup script where 6g stands for 6Gb allowed memory. It depends on how much memory you have available to allow for Sweet Home 3D but I never noticed Sweet Home 3D using more than 6Gb. Of course you can set it to 32g if you want and have the memory available ![]() ETA: on the FAQ page is a topic about this: "How can I adjust the memory used by Sweet Home 3D?" ---------------------------------------- Dodecagon.nl 1300+ 3D models, manuals, and projects |

Re: How to change the memory setting? Ah, thank you! Suddenly remembered that it had to be opened once before changing. |
