Room Area (Meters Squared) Incorrect?
Hello, The room in question is 240cm (2.4 m) wide by 360cm (3.6m) deep. (So i made my walls these sizes the top and bottom walls are 2.4 and the left and right are 3.6)

So, roughly that is 2.4*3.6= 8.64 meters squared.

However, whenever i create a room it under estimates the room size by a significant portion... which is fine if its just an error but then it led me to think... what if my designed room in sh3d is smaller than the actual room which could have some implications.

Any ideas why?

Re: Room Area (Meters Squared) Incorrect?
Walls length is measured in their middle, so the area of a room depends on the thickness of the walls that surround it and the way you create that room.
If you have only one room, I suggest you to create first the room with the keyboard (press the enter key after choosing the first point of the room), then select the Create walls tool and double-click in the room to create the walls around it.
